We are ecstatic to announce Jordan Hallman as our new Community Outreach Director! Many of you (and your children) have gotten to know or have seen Jordan around the studio and in the classroom wearing her teacher hat. Jordan has been an integral part of our teaching staff since joining us in 2016 and is the perfect extension for bringing NorthPointe into the local community. She has a passion for getting to know both the students of our community as well as their families and looks forward to doing so at many community events throughout the year!
Jordan has been in love with dance since the age of three! She originally began her training under the direction of Tony Calucci and Kate Lalonde locally in Ohio. She went on to dance with the pre-professional company the Collaborative Dance Project, performing in numerous classical ballets and contemporary works. During this time, she was privileged to work closely with notable professional dancers and choreographers, such as Zelima Bustillo, Tercell Waters, Angelina Familiara and many others. Later, she moved to train at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre under academy directors Marjorie Grundvig and Dennis Marshall. She was then accepted into their Graduate Program. Jordan was also fortunate to be able to spend her summers at intensives with the Joffery Ballet School, BalletMet, and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Jordan is proud to announce her new position as Community Outreach Director for NDA! She loves to teach all ages of dance and is looking forward to continue sharing her passion for dance at NDA.
Best of luck to our former Community Outreach Director, Lisa House! Lisa has been a part of our NorthPointe family since she was a student dancing under Barb’s instruction alongside several of our current teachers. She helped grow many of our existing community partnerships and got to know so many families along the way. We wish her the absolute best of luck as she pursues her goal of achieving a Master’s Degree in English Education!!
