NDA Alumni Reunite in NYC & Our Hearts Can Hardly Take It!
Friends that dance together stay together!
How heartwarming (and goofy) is this #NDAalumni reunion at the incredible Broadway Dance Center in NYC?!
Left to right:
Lindsey Florence attended Point Park University with fellow NDA alumnus Markelle Grutsch. She currently lives in New York and is working towards her Masters in Marketing at Pace University. She began her graduate studies last September and is already on track to graduate in December! Meanwhile, she continues to dance as often as she can, and is planning on auditioning as a New York Knicks City Dancer this fall!
Markelle Grutsch graduated from Point Park University in 2017 as a dance major and immediately went on to dance with Holland America Line Cruises. After returning home, she she traveled across China teaching American dance to young Chinese ballerinas. This past fall Markelle moved to NYC to pursue a career broadway!
Aimee Smyke graduated from high school in 2015 and is currently studying Commercial Dance at Pace University in New York! Beyond her studies, Aimee performed in the 2017 Capezio A.C.E. Awards, spent a summer dancing with Royal Flux Dance Company in LA studying under the incredibly talented Jaci Royal, and takes every opportunity that crosses her path to choreograph, perform and let her artistic talents shine!
After graduating from Julliard in 2016, Kellie Drobnick went on to travel the world as a dancer/actress in Dirty Dancing On Tour. After completing her world tour, Kellie immediately took a full time job as a dancer for the renowned Twyla Tharp Dance Foundation.
The thing that melts our hearts the most is not just their passion for dance, but their fearlessness, eagerness and determination to chase their dreams! Seeing incredible young men and women have the confidence to turn their dreams into reality is why we do what we do!#proudteachermoment #dancematters #jointhemovement
