UPDATE AS OF 3/13: NDA closed beginning Saturday, March 14th!
Dear NDA Families,
NorthPointe Dance Academy wants you to know that your child and family’s health is of utmost importance to us at all times, and especially as we face the current circumstances regarding school closures and the Coronavirus. We have spent many hours thoughtfully considering and preparing the best plan of action in this unique situation. Although it was a difficult decision to make, our priority is to protect our students, families, and staff.
As you are probably aware, Governor DeWine recently announced that all Ohio schools are to be closed as of March 16th. In response to this, NDA is remaining open through Friday, March 13th. We will be closing Saturday March 14th through the end of Spring Break and plan to re-open on April 6th, 2020. During this time, we will transition to online dance classes. We will be sending families an email with a link and password to their dancer’s class. Our primary goals is to be a truly valued partner to our families – provide families with some relief, some continued normalcy, and provide their children the ability to continue enjoying their love of dance.
Our teaching staff has been preparing diligently and has put together a very specific, engaging and fun curriculum for each appropriate age group and class type that will allow students to receive the same quality education from the comfort of your home. Siblings and friends will be able to join in on the fun and the videos can be played at any time and as many times as you’d like! We also have a few “extra” supplemental videos in the works including recital dances and much more!
We will keep you apprised of any updates or changes via text message, email, Facebook and Instagram. Please stay patient with us as we do our best to respond to your inquiries as quickly as possible. For non-urgent questions, email is the best way to reach us in order to receive the speediest response.
We hope that we can continue to shepherd your child’s love of dance while providing you some much needed relief during this challenging time.
